The House

Throughout history, the building has served as an inn as well as a railway hotel. The suite was restored in the spring of 2019 and contains a huge furnitured lounge with a place for writing, a living-room with a TV, a double bed bedroom and a bathroom with shower. All of it restored in an elegant, tasteful and classical manner.

A refrigerator with ice compartment is available as well as a micro-wave oven, water boiler and kitchenware.

It’s all about having a good time!

The nearby surroundings offer all from Sweden’s best bicycle routes to golf courses and the delightful wooden town of Nora with famous ice cream, swimming, antique shops and enjoyable fairs.

Anyone who appreciates experiences of nature and culture as well as sports, fishing and food will discover that Dalkarlsberg is the key to it all in the beautiful region of Bergslagen.

The wooden town of Nora

Nora is the small cozy wooden town on the water which in summer shows its best side with lush gardens, antique sheds and flea markets, locally produced ice cream and lovely waffle cafes. For those who like to swim, a boat goes daily to an island with a sandy beach, a stone's throw from Nora's harbor. Nora is also a bubbling cultural city with art galleries and several markets.
